The 22nd season of Visioninmusica at the Auditorium Gazzoli in Terni promises an unmissable musical journey.
On 23 January, Simona Molinari will open with her Kairos project, which blends pop, jazz, and swing. She will be preceded by manouche jazz group Four on Six. On 6 February, the young double bass player Nils Kugelmann and his trio will present Life Score, an innovative, cinematic jazz performance, preceded by the Fabio D'Isanto quartet. Then, on 20 February, pianist Thomas Encho — with a background in classical and jazz — will present Mozart Paradox, a bold reinterpretation of the composer's work for solo piano. This will be opened by the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana di Sassofoni. Then, on 6 March, Bungaro's unique style meets Raffaele Casarano's lyrical saxophone in Canzoni in Bianco e Nero, with the a cappella group Mezzotono opening the show. On 13 March, Robinson Khoury, winner of the 2024 Django Reinhardt award, will bring his MYA to the stage — a magnetic fusion of jazz, electronica, and Arabic influences. On 27 March, the legendary guitarist Frank Gambale (from the Chick Corea Electric Band) will present his Natural High Trio in an acoustic, virtuoso performance (Frank Gambale will also hold a guitar masterclass on 26 March). The season concludes on 14 May with Simon Phillips' Protocol V, a high-energy performance by the legendary Toto drummer and fusion icon.
