From 17 October to 4 November 2025, the city of Nuremberg (Germany) will once again transform into a hotspot for contemporary, improvised music. Awarded the German Jazz Prize 2024 “Festival of the Year”, NUEJAZZ is among the country’s most forward-looking jazz events.
This edition focuses especially on the “Vibrant Jazz City Berlin” – celebrating the capital’s creative energy and its role as one of Europe’s most dynamic jazz hubs. In partnership with the German Jazz Prize, NUEJAZZ 2025 presents numerous nominated artists, highlighting the diversity and relevance of today’s German jazz scene.
This year’s program includes Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra, Peter Gall Quintet, Simon Popp, Sonic Interventions, Jelena Kuljić, Enji, Sera Kalo, Lander & Adriaan, and international guests such as Bill Laurance Trio (UK), Knower (USA), Jazzanova feat. Wayne Snow, Àbáse, Embryo and many more.
Alongside headline concerts, the festival hosts NUECOMER Jazz Award, family-friendly NUEJAZZ for Kids, open jam sessions and club nights across venues like Z-Bau, E-Werk and Kulturwerkstatt AEG.
NUEJAZZ 2025 showcases jazz as a living, innovative and socially relevant art form – open-minded, cross-genre and right at the heart of contemporary culture.
