Dodicilune

Description:
DODICILUNE was founded in 1995, driven by a passion for sound and music, with a comprehensive vision of the artistic and musical world, in a complete and continuous cycle as suggested by its name. A group of audiophiles and music lovers from different backgrounds formed the cultural association of the same name, specialising in live and ambient recordings. From 1999 to 2008, it collaborated in the organisation of “Jazle”, the Salento Jazz Festival, staging 64 concerts by world-renowned artists (including Lee Konitz, Brad Mehldau, Jim Hall, John Taylor, Gato Barbieri, Richard Galliano, Eliane Elias, etc.), some of which were recorded and produced on compact disc.

Until 2006, recording activity was sporadic (15 titles). In 2007, with the transition to the current corporate structure, the actual record label was born (“Dodicilune di Maurizio Bizzochetti” – VAT number 04065570758 – Ateco 59.20). Production grew exponentially to around 400 titles currently in the catalogue, including prestigious names from the national and international music scene.
