This autumn, the jaZZanti concert series presents 13 performances of exciting and high-quality jazz and improvised music.
The major event of the season is the Juhani “Junnu” Aaltonen Jubilee Concert, organised in collaboration with the Savoy Theatre on November 18 at 19:00. The evening will feature Junnu performing with Heikki Sarmanto and PLOP, alongside his trio and quartet. It promises to be a spectacular musical celebration in the company of one of the giants of Finnish jazz. More details will be announced in August.
During the autumn season, we will also present the Art Breaks Walls recognition award for the third time.
The jaZZanti concerts are mainly held in the cosy Villa Hakasalmi, Mannerheimintie 13B. All concerts begin at 19:00 unless otherwise noted.
Ticket prices at Villa Hakasalmi: Regular ticket: €22, seniors, unemployed, and members of Helsinki Jazz Association: €17, students: €14, duo ticket (for two): €34. Advance tickets will be available later on Helsinki Jazz’s website at the same price as tickets at the door.
