The international trio has joined forces as a double bass line-up solely for a special concert at the Dobršská brána International Festival, which is being produced in the natural environment of an outdoor stage by the Romanesque bell tower, in a place with a history dating back to pagan times.

Petr Tichý, a Czech jazz double bassist with extensive stage and studio experience, plays, among other things, an electro-acoustic double bass of his own design made by master violin maker Jiří Petlach. During his studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and the jazz department of the Prague Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (with professors Petr Kořínek, Jaromír Honzák and Jiří Slavík, courses with Miroslav Vitouš), he became involved with the Prague jazz scene, where he is still active today. He is or has been involved in a number of cross-genre projects (Alvik, Floex, Sylvie Krobová, Marek Novotný's quintet, NTS trio (with Michal Nejtek and Štěpán Smetáček), Feng-jun Song and trio Puo, Bran, J.Eoin, Paul Novotný trio, Romanovká Tichý Hrubý, Alieksander Yasinski, Radek Doležal, Diva Baara, Pavol Hammel, Ondřej Škoch, Kateřina Göttlichová, Franty Skála's Třaskavá smes, Petr Nikl, Vladimír Václavek, Jana Vébrová, etc.) He produces his own compositional and sound creations mainly through the project HLASkontraBAS in a duo with Ridina Ahmedová, for which they were nominated for the Anděl 2016 award in the worldmusic category.

Mats Eilertsen is one of the best and most distinctive double bassists on the Norwegian jazz scene today. He has a special warm and lyrical way of handling the bass, he is steady and experimental at the same time, bringing it all together while showing openness, willingness and constantly searching for new sounds.
He plays in a number of different bands and constellations in Norway and internationally, such as Tord Gustavsen Ensemble (ECM) the Source (ECM) with Trygve Seim, Øyvind Brække, Per Oddvar Johansen, drums, Dutch pianist Wolfert Brederode Quartet (ECM) Parish (ECM) with Fredrik Ljungkvist (S), Bobo Stenson (S) and Thomas Strønen. He has also released six CDs under his own name.

Nenad Vasilić is a prominent jazz artist - double bassist and composer, who has been active on the European music scene for more than 25 years. Vasilić plays his original compositions inspired by Balkan rhythms, jazz and classical music with great success in various ensembles - from duo to sextet and in solo performances. Vasilić has recorded 13 albums under his own name in various formations. In April 2020, Nenad Vasilić was appointed full-time professor and head of the double bass department at the Berlin Jazz Institute (Universität der Künste Berlin). The music he creates is in constant interaction with the audience, as he performs over 80 performances a year on concert stages, festivals and in clubs across Europe.
