From July 13–17, the city of Łódź, Poland, hosted Intl Jazz Platform 2025, a dynamic international event bringing together artists, professionals, and music lovers from across Europe.
Combining the spirit of a festival, a space for professional dialogue, and an intensive educational programme for 50 emerging artists, Intl Jazz Platform continues to serve as a vital meeting point for the jazz community in Europe.
In 2025, once again, Intl Jazz Platform joined forces with the Better Live project to discuss the future of our sector in the face of climate urgency.
This year’s edition focused on the well-being of the workforce in the music sector and practical strategies for sustainability in music — topics that resonate deeply with the wider EJN network and the challenges we collectively face.
The 2025 faculty team included: Kaja Draksler, Savannah Harris, Per Zanussi, Manuel Hermia, and Tomasz Dąbrowski.
Concert highlights featured performances by Marcel Baliński, Sc'ööf, ØKSE, Marcin Masecki, Gard Nilssen Acoustic Unity, Children of Fish, otherMother, Audun Kleive, Eivind Aarset, Ståle Storløkken, Val Jeanty, and the Andreas Røysum Ensemble.
The event was held under the curatorship of Karolina Juzwa.
