The Émergences Festival has, over the years, become much more than just a musical event: it is a multicultural dialogue that reinvents itself every autumn in Tours.
Organized by Jazz à Tours and Le Petit faucheux, the festival shines a spotlight on a new generation of artists who are reshaping the boundaries of jazz through encounters, hybrid forms, and fresh energies.
In 2025, we are strengthening our partnership with the London-based collective Tomorrow’s Warriors. Their presence embodies our commitment to transmission and openness, giving a voice to young musicians whose creativity is shaping the future of jazz—guided by an inclusive spirit and attuned to the challenges of our society.
On the program: concerts featuring artists from near and far, a masterclass, a talk entitled “Profession: Musician” on women’s access to professional opportunities, a screening of the film Jigeen Ni!, and jam sessions where the audience takes its place at the heart of the stage.
