Blending jazz music with the unique harmony of nature, the 7th Nilüfer Jazz Festival begins!

The festival is going to take place between June 23 and July 3, 2022, including performances of 15 significant artists, as well as various workshops for adults and children.

This year the 7th Nilüfer Jazz Festival, inspired by the “2022 Climate Year” approach, is based on the idea that collective transformation for change and recovery will grow, triggered by the small steps we take individually.

Places surrounded by the nature, such as Balat Atatürk Forest, Atlas Village, and Akçalar Lakeshore will be the venues of this year's festival, and artists such as Ferit Odman Quintet, POW Trio feat. Nükhet Duru, Umut Uslusoy Band, DJ Amir presents Jazzanova (Live): Strata Records Reimagined, Elif Sanchez, Birsen Tezer, Deniz Taşar, Burhan Öçal’s Jazz Dream, Yazz Ahmed, Taksim Trio, Sarp Maden, Saynur Eren, Süreyya Soyak Trio and Deniz Tekin will offer a musical feast to audiances.

In order to draw attention to climate change, a playable sound sculpture "Found Sounds" will be created from waste materials, also a sound workshop "Let's Listen to Our Environment" with children, and a panel titled "Culture, Art and Climate" will be held within the festival.
