XJAZZ! 2022 was a huge success. Back to real live audience, the festival showed the diversity of the genre and the scene in 85 concerts in 12 locations and reached an audience of 15.000 people. Amongst big names like Nubaya Garcia, Avishai Cohen, Nu Genea Live Band, Pip Millett, Emma-Jean Thackray, Alabaster De Plume, Lady Blackbird, Melanie Charles, Shai Maestro and Theo Croker XJAZZ! presented also a lot of new rising acts from the multinational Berlin scene. A historic event was the Pussy Riot performance, which was covered by worldwive media.

XJAZZ! for Ukraine
Together with Anastasiia Pokaz from Odessa/Ukraine, we developed different Formats in order to raise awareness and money to support projects in Ukraine.
These projects were realized during XJAZZ!, but they are also developed as a toolbox to be implemented in other festivals easily:
