The Jive Aces have confirmed two shows at the world famous Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland this July. This will be the band’s fifth year at Europe’s largest jazz festival, on the banks of the beautiful Lake Geneva. Also newly confirmed are the band’s first appearances at the Big River Jazz and Blues Festival in Belfast and at Summer Jamboree festival in Senegallia, Italy. The Summer Jamboree is one of the largest retro festivals in the world and the Jive Aces will be playing the opening night on the main stage to over 5000 people. And….HOT NEWS….There’s a fascinating “making of” video for the Jive Aces’ eagerly awaited album “Recipe for Rhythm” now viewable online atwww.jiveaces.com/recipe. The album features guest appearances from Chick Corea, Mr Acker Bilk, Mark Isham, Toni Elizabeth Prima, Vic Flick, Jeremy Wakefield, Steve Lucky and Miss Carmen Getit and more and takes the Jive Aces recordings to a whole new level. STOP PRESS… Summertime Swing, our annual charity event in Sussex, has moved a week later to Sunday 3rd August, in order to include some very special guests.
