For its 7th edition, the JAZZ SUR SEINE Festival displays ever stronger ambitions. In this year marking the 100th anniversary of the arrival of Jazz in France with the commitment of US musicians in the Great War, everyone can tour the world of all Jazz in two weeks (October 12-27).

The diversity of styles and the selection of artists are the highlights of this Festival which mobilizes throughout the Paris Region, 25 places dedicated throughout the year to "the most popular scholarly music."

Initiator of the project, Paris Jazz Club will propose more than 400 musicians illustrating the vivacity of the French scene in a manifest desire to discover artists of world renown (Carla Bley, Richard Galliano, Roberto Fonseca ...) and emerging talents (Arnaud Dolmen, Matthis Pascaud, Geraud Portal, ...). A concern for defense and illustration of Jazz in all its facets based on a studied pricing (pass 3 concerts - 40 euros and discovery offer - 10 euros).

In the same spirit of promotion, the Festival organizes, on October 16th, the traditional Soirée Showcases JAZZ SUR SEINE, in partnership with the ADAMI and ARTE CONCERT, which will present to the professionals in the clubs of the district Halles about twenty projects of artists worthy of the attention of programmers, producers and other turners. It is worth noting that the entrance will be free for the public.

JAZZ SUR SEINE will complete its action in favor of Jazz in Île de France through master classes and awareness workshops for young students within the institutions themselves.
