Wolfgang Muthspiel - Colin Vallon - Matthieu Michel

Last summer a new band celebrated its premiere at the Loulé Internacional de Jazz Festival in Portugal: the Wolfgang Muthspiel Chamber Trio. Accommpanied by trumpeter Matthieu Michel and pianist Collin Vallon, the trio is on top form, with a sensitive blend of Chamber Music and Jazz. They present a unique polyphonic musical microcosmos, in which Chamber Musical intimacy and transparency encounter rhythmical strength and playing enthusiasm. In the process, spontaneous and boundless improvisation is not neglected, which ensures that every concert by these three congenial masters of their instruments offers a new opportunity to reinvent the band.
