Sun-Mi Hong is considered one of the most exciting emerging drummers composing and band leading in the Netherlands. Her unique sound and approach pulls from many diverse sources. With a keen interest in Korean traditional music, she is influenced by the percussions of her country while on the other hand her compositional style is much inspired by impressionistic classical music. At this concert, singer and composer Song YI Jeon, also of South-Korean descent, will join the formation.
