After dominating the jazz charts, winning a couple of R&B Grammys, and recording with the likes of Erykah Badu, Norah Jones, Snoop Dogg, Mos Def, Q-Tip, Kanye West, Maxwell and Snoop Dogg, what do you do next?

If you’re restless band leader Robert Glasper, you score a Miles Davis film, play keys all over Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly and re-set what’s possible with The Experiment.

On their latest LP ArtScience, The Robert Glasper Experiment channel everything that's vibrant about music, with tracks rooted in jazz and R&B yet impossible to peg; throwing together unexpected moments of funk, soul, rock, hip-hop, blues, disco, electronic and pop.

While the first two Grammy-winning albums featured cameos, this is the first Experiment LP where all the members write, produce and sing, making it their most fully realised project to date. With a live band featuring saxophonist Casey Benjamin, bassist Burniss Travis II, drummer Justin Tyson, guitarist Mike Severson and Glasper himself on the keys — you can’t afford to miss this.

'It's a short list of jazz pianists who have the wherewithal to drop a J Dilla reference into a Thelonious Monk cover but not many jazz pianists are Robert Glasper' (Los Angeles Times)

Support for the evening comes from Gabriel Garzón Montano. Catapulted into the spotlight after being sampled by Drake, the Brooklyn singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, now label mates with J Dilla and Madlib, creates his soulful experimentation with a melting pot of funk, RnB and infectious energy.
