Jakob Bro Trio feat. Joey Baron & Thomas Morgan

The Danish guitarist Jakob Bro has put together a great trio, featuring bassist Thomas Morgan and drummer Joey Baron, renowned exponents of the New York Downtown scene. Their ECM debut album «Gefion» was showered with praise and prizes. With much finesse and sensitivity for deep mutual understanding, each of these three musicians creates their very own sound which is woven into a wonderful sound tapestry.
For the ECM 50th Jubilee, the trio has dedicated this concert to the trumpeter Tomasz Stanko, who died last year.
