Chiri Moya

Her style is haptic, analogue and oldschool, yet her music is often brand-new, crosses genres and spans the world. As a traiblazer of the Tropical Bass in Zurich, Chiri Moya organised the first «Baile Funk Concerts» and in order to share this musical direction with others, she began to spin the discs. Since then she has performed in various European cities and in Bangkok, Mumbai, Atlanta, Cape Town and Rio de Janeiro, where she lived in each of these cities for several months. These culturally different places and their subcultures have significantly influenced her musical style. In her sets she combines bass, rap and grime with Kwaito, Kuduro, jungle and much more.
