Quasimodo - Berlins oldest Jazz Club

Where:
12A Kantstrasse,

Berlin
Germany
Description:

„Who tries to preserve something worth preserving, has to be nearly a revolutionary!”

The Quasimodo is one of Berlin’s oldest Jazz clubs and one of the most renowned live music clubs in Europe.

The ambience is traditional, as it should be for a genuine club: a jazz basement in its true sense, situated under the Delphi cinema and the Quasimodo café. One facet is the traditional Jazz; on the other hand, the Quasimodo offers a forum for many other musical styles. Funk, Soul, Latin, Blues, Rock and anything else finds its musical home on the Quasimodo stage.

Since 1975, respectively 1969, many of the Jazz greats have been enjoying the direct contact with the audience, which may count up to 350 fitting in the club. Just one visit will keep you coming back to the Quasimodo!

The Quasimodo club opens its doors for the audience at 21:00h. The concerts start at approximately 22:00h, due to the adjoining theatre ‘Vagantenbühne’ having their shows.

The entry charge varies, depending on the performing artist.

Concert tickets may be obtained in the Quasimodo Café, apart from the regular concert ticket counters. We are only charging a processing fee of € 0,50 for all concerts promoted by the Quasimodo GmbH, without the usual presales fee!

It is now possible to bindingly reserve tickets which will be deposited at the evening counter, or buy them online. You will have to register to do so, which is free of charge.

Since January 1st 2008 the Quasimodo Club is smoke free!

The Quasimodo-Team is looking forward to your visit!
