Macedonian Association of Jazz Musicians and Free Artists

Established in 2016, the Association of jazz musicians and free artists of Macedonia is the only one of its kind in the country bringing together excellent musicians with an interest in jazz and various crossover music forms. Under the auspices of the organization works the well-known Jazz Association Big Band that is comprised of some of the best musicians in the country and frequently collaborates with foreign musicians (Sigi Feigl, Don Menza). It also organizes concerts and events of smaller jazz groups that have performed in North Macedonia and abroad. One of the main focuses of the organization is the promotion of jazz music and broadening the audience for the genre in North Macedonia. It organizes the annual event TODAY IT’S ALL ABOUT JAZZ as well as other concerts and events. The main purpose that unites the activities of our association is to contribute to affirmation of Macedonian jazz music through promotion of production and performance of original jazz music created and performed by Macedonian jazz composers and musicians.
