The 2015 edition of the Nattjazz Festival in Bergen, Norway, will take place between the 28th of May and 1st of June. Nattjazz, a member of Europe Jazz Network (EJN), is the oldest and one of the leading jazz festivals in Northern Europe. 35 years old, it presents 10 days of music in a spectacular venue, an old sardine factory, with over 30 concerts of prominent international artists as well as avant-garde and soon-to-be famous projects.
The Lubljana Jazz Festival will take place between the 1st and 4th of July 2015 in the Slovenian capital. Over a four-day period, the 56th Ljubljana Jazz Festival, a meber of the European Jazz Network, will present: 19 concerts featuring artists from 19 countries; three world premieres; the guitar, orchestra and Flemish/Belgian focuses; the 75th anniversary of James Blood Ulmer; Jazz Network Board and lively festival meeting points at venues throughout Ljubljana.
Mai Jazz Festival, a member of Europe Jazz Network and one of Norway's most prominent jazz Festival, is taking place between the 5 and 10 May 2015 in the city of Stavanger with a great showcase of international artists as well as Norwegian ones.
A number of jazz magazines from across Europe have come together under the banner Europe Jazz Media to work on common objectives in encouraging and strengthening interest in jazz and spreading awareness of the development and diversity of the music. One of the first initiatives is the Europe Jazz Media chart: a non-sales related chart that reveals some of the hot new music surfacing across the continent right now.

The International Jazz Artist Contest "Riga Jazz Stage 2015" has concluded and laureates of both categories - "Jazz Vocal" and "Jazz Trumpet" – have been announced!
"Riga Jazz Stage 2015" took place from 9 to 11 April at cinema "Splendid Palace". This year the contest welcomed 24 young jazz talents from 13 different countries – 8 trumpeters and 16 vocalists. Each night concluded with a packed jam session at "Kaņepes Kultūras centrs" arts and music centre.
