North Sea Round Town

An adventurous playground for innovative (jazz) music in Rotterdam.

Fringe festival North Sea Round Town (NSRT) continues its course to further develop its profile as an adventurous playground for rising jazz stars and beyond. The festival connects talent, young programmers, and the city of Rotterdam in all its facets by presenting groundbreaking content. Every year for two and a half weeks in the heart of the summer, more than 325 concerts in 125 different locations can be visited: from (jazz) stages to public places, and special locations such as the harbor, former swimming pools, churches, sheds and living rooms, but also in nursing homes, hospitals and neighborhoods in the outskirts of the city. Cross-pollination everywhere!

The city forms a challenging scenery and the connecting factor for rising stars and contemporary acts on a local and (inter)national level. The keyword here is collaboration, because NSRT is a festival where everything revolves around joining forces with new young voices and collective making.
