Registration is now open for the 5th European Jazz Conference in Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon, Portugal, 13 - 16 September 2018.
 
The European Jazz Conference (EJC) is the most important annual meeting of professionals from the jazz sector in Europe, in particular of presenters, managers, agents and national/regional organisations. The Conference is composed of inspiring keynote speeches, high-level  discussion groups and workshops, networking sessions for professionals,  cultural visits and in the evenings a showcase programme of the best new artists from the host country, this year Portugal.
 
The registration fee includes access to the whole conference programme, showcase festival, Opening Gala Concert, cultural tours on Sunday 16 September and lunch/dinners during the days of the conference. Registration is free for all EJN members (http://www.europejazz.net/members), and they should register trough a different internal form circulated to the membership.

The Conference is co-organised by Europe Jazz Network, Associação Sons da Lusofonia and Centro Cultural de Belém, with the support of the Municipality of Lisbon, the Lisbon Tourism Association and the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. The event is part of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage programme.
 
The European Jazz Conference is a leading annual gathering of professionals from the jazz sector in Europe, in particular of promoters, cultural managers, agents and national/regional support organisations. What has been the General Assembly of the Europe Jazz Network, from 2014 has been expanded and is now open as well to other professionals under the name of European Jazz Conference.
