Rikskonsertenes main goal is to make live music of high artistic quality accessible to everyone in the country

We have three important tasks.
- We produce quality concert programmes and arrange tours of these programmes throughout Norway, in close co-operation with local concert organisers.
- We administer Norway’s National School Concert Scheme and ensure that it reflects both high artistic and educational quality and musical diversity.
- We act as an adviser, co-ordinator and operating agent in the implementation of Norway’s international cultural policy.
