Stockholm Jazz Festival 9-18 October 2020

The Stockholm Jazz Festival is one of Sweden’s oldest festivals and one of Stockholm’s biggest live events. During the last couple of years, the festival has attracted more visitors than ever before attracting around 30 000 people each year.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s festival will be a smaller, more intimate affair with some of the most talented musicians in the world.  Headlines include Ashley Henry, Kathrine Windfeld Sextet, Rymden, 4 Wheel Drive (Wolfgang Haffner, Michael Wollny, Nils Landgren, Lars Danielsson) as well as Swedish stars such as Lisa Nilsson and Norrbotten Big Band, Amanda Ginsburg, Goran Kajfeš Tropiques, Susanna Risberg, Mathias Landæus and Rigmor Gustafsson.

In total, the Stockholm Jazz Festival will be offering 150 concerts spread over a 10-day period at 30 of Stockholm’s most prestigious venues such as Fasching, Stockholm Concert Hall, Glenn Miller Café and Kulturhuset Stadsteatern – Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre.

For the first time ever, through popular demand, the festival will also be going digital with concerts being streamed live via stockholmjazz.se

The 2020 Stockholm Jazz Festival has been organized in accordance with national health and safety protocols.
