Since its creation in 2011, music:LX never stops looking for new opportunities to promote Luxembourgish artists abroad. music:LX is pleased to announce the prestigious partnership established with the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest (US). Started in 1990, the Summer Fest has grown into one of the US’s most important music festivals, featuring more than 120 performances during 3 days on 12 stages presenting the best in jazz, blues, R&B, funk, New Orleans, zydeco and more.
The 2016 edition will take place from August 12th to 14th, during which the audience will discover two Luxembourgish bands: the latin-influenced Jazz of trumpeter Ernie Hammes’ Quintet on August 12th and the traditional Jazz of guitarist Greg Lamy’s Trio on August 13th.
