Jean-Luc Ponty

After his project "Better late than never" with the YES singer John Anderson, Jean-Luc Ponty toured with the Anderson-Ponty band last year and in Spring this year with great success in the US.

Now the undisputed pioneer of jazz violin, Jean-Luc Ponty, turns to Europe again and performs with his BAND, a quartet with violin, keyboard, bass and drums, or with his DUO with William Lecomte on grand piano.

Recently, the Jean-Luc Ponty DUO played in Waldshut, Germany and received enthusiastic applause and great reviews.

The newspaper Südkurier wrote:
"A jazz event of the highest class ...
As the violin of the Maestro Jean Luc Ponty rang out the sound touched the souls of the audience deeply and ignited in them the spark of desire this performance may never end...
And so followed after every song always a little surprise in the design of the next song. Like pearls the songs lined up against each other and amazed the audience again and again in true enthusiasm .... "
