From May 16th to June 30th 2023, Spanish artists can apply to participate in the showcases of the 6th edition of JAZZ I AM. The meeting will be held from March 6th to 8th 2024 in Barcelona.
The call is directed exclusively at projects of jazz and other contemporary improvised music artists from Spain. The selected artists will be announced at the end of September 2023.
The showcases will be selected by a professional jury after considering originality, quality, and the viability commercializing each project internationally. They will also aim to ensure that the final selection will represent the maximum possible diversity of styles.
The selected individuals will have the possibility to perform their music projects in front of accredited national and international programmers at the meeting in Barcelona.
