EJN is partnering with I-Jazz, the Italian federation of jazz Festivals and MIDJ, the Italian association of jazz musicians, for an event at Casa del Jazz in Rome on Tuesday 12 December 2017 on the theme of producing and presenting jazz concerts for children and young audiences, with the support of MiBACT, the Italian Ministry of Culture and of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.

The conference will present some of the most interesting experiences that took place in this field in Italy and in Europe, with the view of developing a new cultural paradigm for joint actions. The event will be also the occasion to launch the Handbook on Jazz for Young People, developed by EJN together with Vestnorsk Jazzsented in Norway as part of the activities carried out over the past three years on the theme of Jazz for Young People.
