New Music from Michael Dubin

Hello,
I just completed a new solo CD called Little Red Box.

The cd will be officially released sometime in May of 2006.  I am very excited about this music which was written, performed, recorded, and produced all by me.  I am very fortunate to have some very talented friends who guest on a few tracks: my brother BJ Dubin, DJ Bonebrake, Shea Welsh, Evan Calbi, Richard Hardy, Judy Guardia, Wayne O-Mills, and Angel Lebron.  This is another side of my musical identity that is getting to shine for the first time. 
Right now I am also working on a jazz CD from the Dubin Collective, a sextet featuring myself on drums, DJ Bonebrake (X) on vibes, Shea Welsch on guitar, Evan Calbi on bass, Angel Lebron (Olatunji Drums of Passion) on congas and percussion, and Michael Fortunato on trumpet.  We are working up a bunch of original music to debut in the spring and hopefully release a CD and make it over to Europe sometime soon.  This is all very exciting indeed.
