VANGELIS KATSOULIS GROUP

Vangelis Katsoulis Group was founded in 1996. Vangelis Katsoulis (Greece) is the composer, arranger and leader of the group. His compositions are based on the exceptional abilities of these musicians and their idiosyncratic playing. His music bears the traits of his past experiences - classical and contemporary music, minimalism, electronic music, soundtrack writing and of course, jazz. The special character of this music is the result of mixing all these styles and elements and at the same time aiming at clarity, simplicity and emotional directness.

Vangelis Katsoulis Group has recorded two albums, Through The Dark (Lyra) and Silent Voyage (Libra), and played numerous concerts.
