"I Need Your Love," from Denarris' CD "Songs From The Heart - Part 1," hit the radio airwaves in October 2004 and soon began receiving chart status around the globe, surpassing such artists as Prince, Destiny's Child, Jessica Simpson and Eminem in the Adult Contemporary category, according to Gracenote, one of the largest online music information databases in the world.
"I Need Your Love" has played on a multitude of US and international radio stations. Earlier this year, the single made New Music Weekly Magazine's Adult Contemporary Top 40 List, topping Duran Duran, Hoobastank and Tim McGraw, and hit the number four position on the United Kingdom's Reptor Chart Show, remaining in the top five for seven months. It was also a top gainer on Friday Morning Quarterback charts for several weeks.
Other tracks from "Songs From the Heart - Part 1" have also been receiving critical acclaim. "I Think I'm Falling in Love" was cited by Barry Towler of Soul Express Magazine as "one of my favorite songs of 2004," and Scott O'Brien of smoothjazz.com praises the "lovely piano ballad 'Midnight Kiss,' the cinematic 'Mallisa' and the touching vocal 'For All Times.'"
Denarris himself was honored with a Best R&B Artist nomination by All Access Magazine, which lauded "I Need Your Love" in its CD review and included "For All Times" on its compilation CD, "All Access Rocks." "Midnight Kiss," meanwhile, was featured at MIDEM, the international music conference, on a CD sampler "Music from the States 2005." Presently "Midnight Kiss," is hitting the airwaves and rapidly gaining chart momentum nationwide.
