Jazz Junction's current lineup includes: Gloria Menezes-vocals Gloria has been singing professionally on resident band contracts with some of the best hotels in Mumbai. Her first night club stint was with the 'Soft Rock Revolution' at the Oberoi Towers and her most recent residency was at the Taj Mahal's Starboard. She has a vast repertoire of jazz standards including songs form the popular American song book. Besides hotels, Gloria is also much in demand in the studio circuit and has several popular jingles to her credit. Giovanni Pereira-saxophone Giovanni graduated in jazz studies with honours from Toronto's Humbur college. A Canadian citizen of Indian origin, Giovanni was very much part of India's swinging sixties scene, gigging all over the country with some of India's most accomplished jazz artistes. He currently divides his time between Toronto and Mumbai and has established himself as a much in demand live as well as session musician in both the cities. Lenny Heredia-keyboards Lenny is one of the few jazz pianists who is equally at home with synthesised keyboard sounds. His creativity extends beyond brilliant improvisational skills into the realms of modern sounds of jazz. He uses the synthesiser as a sound palete to create the most amazing soundscapes in his solos. He is in town on holiday after recently migrating to Australia where he is very much part of the jazz scene in Perth. Colin D'Cruz-bass Bassplayer Colin's journey into music began with resident band contracts at some of the finest hotels in India. Ten years of six nights a week gigs, laid the foundation for his musical growth. Even though he performs just about every genre of music, jazz always remains his first love. He is constantly influenced by evolving forms of rhythm, melody and harmony that invariably gets absorbed into his music. Roger Menezes-drums Roger's career in music began with resident band contracts at the Oberoi and Taj hotels. His most recent hotel residency was at the JW Marriott hotel. He is the son of one of India's most accomplished jazz pianists Ronnie Menezes. He is comfortable in most genres of music and currently tours worldwide with singer Sonu Nigam.
