Festival Django à Liberchies - May 21 & 22

“Django à Liberchies” will take place on the weekend of 21st and 22nd may !

Remember, you were 6.500 to come to our festival to have fun and enjoy the sound of swing in May 2004 with OPUS SWING, NUAGES de SWING, MYSTERE TRIO, KOEN OF CAUTER, ALMA SINTI, QUENTIN DUJARDIN, CHIRSTOPHE ASTOLFI, SERGE LOPEZ and LATCHO NIGLO! Our third yearly festival will take place on the weekend of 21st and 22nd may 2005 in the village where Django REINHARDT was born: Liberchies.

The concept behind our festival, i.e. combining a quality musical program with a multitude of creative, leasure and artistic activities remains unchanged. We want the “Django à Liberchies” festival to go on being a great family celebration of Django and his music.

Bands 2005

Our musical program is now complete: Steve HOUBEN, Alexandre CAVALIERE (with Samson SCHMIDT), Les Pommes de ma Douche, Samarabalouf, Stéphane MERCIER, Yorgui LOEFFLER. Our favourite young band is Santa Swing and our favourite band for the 2004 edition is Quentin DUJARDIN who will be here with Ivan PADUART.

The new festival visual has been created by Laurent COURTOIS, graphic designer who was also performing with his band “Nuages de Swing” at the Django Festival 2004.

A pass for 2 days will be avalaible at the price of 3 euros. – 18 years old FREE.

BECOME ‘WEB REPORTER DURING THE EVENT “DJANGO IN LIBERCHIES 2005”

If you are between 14 and 25 and are eager to impersonate a reporter and discover for free the techniques of reports Multi-media, become a "Web Reporter" for the durationof the event "Django in Liberchies'.

You will have the opportunityto meet the artists, to carry out reports (Photographs, radio, writing) wich will be broadcast on the Internet on the very same day ! Please, hurry up, the number of places is limited to 12.
