Dutch Jazz Meeting 2005 - March 17 through 19 in Amsterdam 

The Dutch Jazz Meeting 2005 will take place in Amsterdam from March 17 - 19, 2005 in the brand new Bimhuis on the banks of the IJ-river. As part of the opening-festivities of the Bimhuis, the Dutch Jazz Meeting has been extended to 3 days during which 26 groups and soloists will present short highlights of their current repertoire.

On March 18 a jazz-fair will be organised whereby representatives of local jazzgroups will have an opportunity to meet and greet our international guests.

The Dutch Jazz Meeting is the bi-annual showcase of Dutch Jazz and Improvised Music. International programmers and journalists are especially invited to be present during this event which will also host Dutch interested parties.

Some 120 international organisers and journalists will attend the Dutch Jazz Meeting.
