John Lindberg World Star Quartet

Bassist/composer John Lindberg has released over two dozen albums under his own name, and is well known for his work with the String Trio of New York, Anthony Braxton, Eric Watson, Albert Mangelsdorff and many others. His new CD with the World Star Quartet - Powerful Reflections - will be released on the Frankfurt-based between the lines record label in early 2003. This will mark Lindberg's third release for between the lines, following the critically acclaimed A Tree Frog Tonality (with Wadada Leo Smith, Larry Ochs and Andrew Cyrille) and Two By Five (two extended works for string quintet).
