 The Jazzinvaders ft Dr. Lonnie Smith availability
As you might have noticed, The Jazzinvaders had the privilege last summer to spend a couple of days in the studio with Hammond legend Dr. Lonnie Smith. Besides having a great time this will result in a full album which is due to be released on Unique Records in March 2013. That’s great news.

Finally it’s there, the long awaited new Scallymatic Orchestra album to honor Jimi Hendrix, released on – what would have been – his seventieth birthday. Name and artwork of the new project have been revealed. The album is going to be called ‘Band of Scallies’! There’s only one problem: the band didn’t get permission from the Hendrix.
