Some days ago Alphonse Mouzon celebrated his birthday, he said: “I get younger each year - yet older in wisdom!!”

The outstanding drummer was together with Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter one of the founders of the legendary WEATHER REPORT. Further he established together with Larry Coryell the successful band The Eleventh House. And he played with huge numbers of famous musicians such as McCoy Tyner, Gil Evans, Roy Ayers, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie, Stanley Clarke, Al Dimeola, Randy Brecker, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana...

Last year he published his latest CD ANGEL FACE and he plans touring in Europe with his Jazz Quartet in 2013 performing the repertoire of this CD beside some of his other hits.
