No Harmonic this year, and some good news!

No Harmonic this year

The sharp minded amongst you will have noticed that this time last year we were celebrating a job well done with Harmonic 2011. Sadly lots of factors have conspired against us this year meaning that the festival is (temporarily) on ice. We're hoping to be back with a bang in 2013. In the mean time we're going to promoting a series of one-off gigs throughout the year beginning with:

Snarky Puppy
Thursday 8th November
The Hare & Hounds, Kings Heath, B14 7JZ
8pm doors (band onstage around 9pm), £12

Snarky Puppy are an incredible live band from Texas (US) and make their Birmingham debut as part of a UK tour. An explosive live show from one of the tightest, funkiest jazz bands on the planet. They first came to our attention after playing to a packed out Band On The Wall earlier this year and stunning the crowd with their tight musicianship. But don't take our word for it, see them in action below:

BLAM!

If you can't wait that long for your next fix of live music, check out Blam! who are currently promoting at least two gigs a week of interesting, forward thinking jazz music. It's also a great way to support the local scene so please get out to some of their gigs listed on their website:
