Spinifex Orchestra tour in the Netherlands, 18 october - 2 november 2012Spinifex is going back to its roots. The Spinifex Orchestra is the original Spinifex line-up, a nine-piece band including Dutch top improvisors like Jasper Blom, Joost Buis, Raphael Vanoli and Ned McGowan, just to name a few. In 2008, the Orchestra released the CD 'Triodia', which was very well received. Frans van Leeuwen wrote the following in NRC Next: ‘...the dynamics of this nine piece orchestra are tremendous. It can whisper, but also roar...
