CD out : ‘Destiny’ (Music & Words, Zimbraz)

Abdelli released his first 2 CDs with the famous label "Real World".

He played concerts and festivals all over the world and performed with Yehudi Menuhin, Ravi Shankar, Natacha Atlas and Loreena McKennitt. He sang the duet "In your Eyes" with Peter Gabriel (2002).

 After three years of conscious absence from the international stage returns the Algerian musician Abdelli back into the limelight with his new exiting album Destiny (Music & Words, Zimbraz), an album about life in exile.

Abdelli is known for his own sound, a mix of modern sounds and his own Berber traditions. He collaborates with musicians from around the world. (Belgium, Pakistan, Armenia, Brazil, Morocco and Mexico).

The interesting combination of instruments, the unexpected timbre and the surprising atmosphere  works enchanting.
