SuperSam - Forum of Solo Improvisation Masters

Gdańsk, 4-6 October2012

Forum of Solo Improvisation Masters is an occasion for the meeting of the masters, students and enthusiasts of the most refined and, at the same time, the simplest form of improvisation: a solo concert. Forum of Solo Improvisation Masters embraces three days of lectures, meetings and concerts. All events will be held in 'Plama' Gdański Archipelag Kultury.

'Solo is a form of the first contact of an artist with music, the first disclosure of an idea, the first perron of a composition - only later the sound meets the listener or the microphone, in the case of the recording. (..) Yes, during this Forum, held in this place and not anywhere else, we want you to discover the treasures of improvisation and music created here and now, from the need of both the artists and the audience. We revive the tradition in the iconic cultural landmark!'
