With great pride, we offer you Soft Machine for concerts, festivals, and special events in Europe in 2013.

This year in October 2012, SOFT MACHINE will be the headliner at Jazz Festival Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany – the oldest and one of the most respected jazz festivals in the world. In 2013, Soft Machine will be releasing a new studio album (Moonjune Records).

JOHN ETHERIDGE (Nigel Kennedy, John Williams, Andy Summers, u.a.): electric guitar
THEO TRAVIS (Gong, Porcupine Tree, The Tangent, Bass Communion, No-Man, David Sylvian, u.a.): soprano & alto sax, flute, loops, electronic effects
JOHN MARSHALL (Jack Bruce, John McLaughlin, ECM Recording Artist): drums
ROY BABBINGTON (Ian Carr´s Nucleus, Allan Holdsworth): electric bass

Tour Period: all year 2013; with focus on Summer Festivals 2013
Travel Party: 4 to 5 Persons
Territories: All of Europe outside of the UK

In February 1968, Soft Machine embarked on a 3-month US tour (opening for the Jimi Hendrix Experience) and recorded their first album in New York in four days in April, with production handled by Tom Wilson and Chas Chandler, former Animals bassist and Hendrix's producer. Now, over 40 years later, SOFT MACHINE are available for performances throughout Europe.
