Raahe Jazz on The Beach Festival

The World Saxophone Quartet Jimi Hendrix tribute

will headline Raahe Jazz on the Beach 2012.

The festival will also feature this year’s hottest Finnish line-ups.

The 24th Raahe Jazz on the Beach festival will take place in its traditional

and sympathetic location by the sea on the insland of Ulkofantti

and at the Ruiskuhuone café in the old wooden town of Raahe 26-28 July 2012.

The headlining act will be the legendary World Saxophone Quartet

led by David Murray. The line-up is David Murray, Oliver Lake,

Hamiet Bluiett, and Tony Kofi on saxes, Jaribu Shahid on bass,

and Ranzell Merritt on drums.
