Jazz transforms life, because it is inspired by the city and its people. Sounds of the instruments, notes in the air, weave a jazz tune as they permeate our souls. They find their way to hidden corners of our hearts that we hadn't known of, and help us remember who we are. Jazz is a fascinating journey within our innermost selves, and whether we find peace or unexpected turbulence there, we realize once more that what matters above anything else is to keep the inner light alive.

So once again jazz brings its spell to remind us of ourselves...
Acclaimed masters of jazz will be joined by young musicians in venues all over the city in the course of Akbank's 21st International Jazz Festival.
And this year's "Jazz at the Campus" will visit many more cities than last year, bringing jazz to thousands of university students.
