Jazz at the Bar on Fifth
The Bar on Fifth continues its exciting collaboration with Artist in Residence, Antonio Ciacca.

In addition to Antonio's performances, September 2011's calendar features ensembles led by Ayako Shirasaki, and Kelvin Sholar.

At the end of September, performances by pianist Luke Celenza will also mark the beginning of Ciacca's music series Italian Jazz Days.

All performances begin at 8 p.m., and feature no cover charge, with a one drink minimum.

September 1-4: One of Japan's most striking talents, pianist Ayako Shirasaki has quickly established herself as a rising star in New York's jazz scene.

September 5-11 and 19-25: The Bar on Fifth's Artist in Residence, Antonio Ciacca has delighted audience with his soulful gospel-infused playing.

September 12-28: Kelvin Sholar's singular, genre-defying touch has graced the albums of artists ranging from Stevie Wonder to the New York City Ballet.

September 26-30: Opening the third annual Italian Jazz Days series, 19-year-old prodigy Luke Celenza has quickly proved himself to be one of Juilliard's most promising new talents.
