„RIGAS RITMI” FESTIVAL 2011 offers an exciting concert programme, presenting many outstanding artists from all around the world!

Also this summer, festival "RIGAS RITMI" gives its audience a unique opportunity to hear in person many world-renowned music personalities, both, established artists and the newest discoveries of the contemporary jazz and world music stages. The audience  will have an opportunity to enjoy performances of such great artists as the fiery Latin jazz pianist Alex Wilson and his Salsa Orchestra, the brightest German contemporary jazz star – trumpeter Till  Brönner, the unique Cape Verdean-Portuguese vocalist Carmen Souza, the Spanish flamenco guitar virtuoso Eduardo Niebla, the Italian saxophonist and jazz prodigy Francesco Cafiso, the amazingly talented Cuban pianist Alfredo Rodriguez (the newest discovery of the music legend Quincy Jones!), one of the most original contemporary jazz and world music vocalists Philip Hamilton, the Norwegian contemporary jazz band "Beady Belle" and the experimental jazz trio "Das Kapital."

Just like every year young musicians and other music enthusiasts will have an opportunity to attend “RIGAS RITMI” FESTIVAL master-classes and workshops, led by internationally renowned masters.
