Newsflash - Electric Barbarian 2010

Electric Barbarian is the band that Floris Vermeulen initiated in 2000. For almost a decade now they perform their unique mix of high speed live drum’n bass and jazz improvisation. The band performed in venues all over Europe a.o. :

Banlieues Bleues (Paris),
Lowlands (Biddinghuizen),
Auditorium (Rome) live for Radio Rai3, Cankarjev Dom (Ljubljana),
Paradiso (Amsterdam),
Kunstencentrum Vooruit (Gent),
Taktlos.07 (Zurich)
and Jazz Saalfelden (Austria).

The strong pact the musicians of Electric Barbarian form doesn’t keep them from exploring unknown areas of the musical spectrum. They find a new challenge in collaborating with people from various musical backgrounds. Call it a contradiction, but the result remains a unique sound.
