Winners of the Young Nordic Jazz Comets 2009

Young Nordic Jazz Comets the annual contest for young talented musicians from the Nordic countries.

The contest takes place every year in a new Nordic capital, this year in Oslo.

THE FIRST PRIZE:
The Ingimar Andersen Quartet from Iceland and the norwegian trio PELbO won a shared first prize in YNJC 2009 finale at Nasjonalscenen in Oslo.


THE SOLOIST PRIZE:
Naoko Sakata from Sweden won the soloistprize for her excellent and mature play.
