Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We have received great response from all over the European music scene and we are looking forward to meet:
- a large number of music professionals from more than 30 European countries;
- representing more than 70 music organisations;
- and presenting many new and exciting contemporary music projects & initiatives from across the scene. Project Stages present innovative ideas Amonst many projects to be presented on ARTMUSFAIR #01 we may mention here an abstract of what to be expected:
[The EUROPEAN FILM MUSIC DAYS (14th - 15th November 2008, Paris)] Launched at the occasion of the CENTENARY OF FILM MUSIC 1908/1909 - 2008/2009, a celebration placed under the patronage of the French President Mr Nicolas SARKOZY, is co-organised by FFACE and UCMF, in partnership with the CITÉ DE LA MUSIQUE, aimed to become a cross-professional platform bringing together protagonists from the film and television sector on the theme of pictures and music, as well as representatives from related European political and cultural bodies... [Composers Factory] The idea orients to a “composer in school-residence” but shall introduce school kid to concepts of musical composition by envolving those who are playing in school orchestras or sing in school choirs to receive the unique opportunity to study, rehearse and perform the music of a local Art music composer...
[RE:New Music Network] Is to create new possibilities for repertoire on a high artistic level to be heard more frequently, and also suggests a clear strategy for the exchange and diffusion of existing repertoire... Special Workshop
