The prestigious Downbeat Award has again been given this year to the MINGUS BIG BAND (big band category). The 14 piece big band which has achieved a very successful 6 weeks summer tour in Europe will be again touring this coming autumn, also at the 80th Anniversary occasion.

The Paul van Kemenade Quintet has two open dates on September 5th and 6th in Italy. The Dutch Paul van Kemenade Quintet is playing on the 7th of September at the Festival delle Serre in Cosenza/Cerisano (Italy).
