Lorenzo
Minguzzi began guitar studies in 1980 as a self-taught
musician.
In
1982 he starter a triennial jazz guitar corse at the Centro Jazz
Torino, and in the meanwhile he studied classical guitar with M°
Franco Cavallone.
In
1989, 1990 and 1992 he attended the national specialization
courses in Siena.
In
1989, 1990, 1991 and 1993 he attended the workshops organized by
Associazione polifonica in Ravenna, having the opportunity to
study with Joe Diorio, Mike Stern, Pat Metheny and Mick Goodrick.
From
1989 to 1992 he improved himself with M° Mario Petracca.
In
February 1993 he participated in a workshop held by Jim Hall at
the CDPM in Bergamo and in March 1996 he attended a workshop held
by Philippe Catherine at the Centro Jazz Torino.
Concert
activity & collaborations:
In
1991, 1992 and 1993 he worked steadily with French singer Pascale
Charetton, in Italy, France, Spain and Germany, in duo or trio
with accordeonist Luca Zanetti, performing French songs from the
classical repertory and original compositions.
From
1993 to 1995 he collaborated with a band playing pop & blues
dance music, in ballrooms and television stage.
In
October 1998 he performed at Padova Jazz Festival, at Teatro
Verdi, to present the CD "Serenata Celeste".
He
also collaborated with:
Flavio Boltro, Gianni Cazzola, Marco Vaggi, Gianni Basso, Gianni
Coscia, Furio Di Castri, Francesco Sotgiu, Giorgio Li Calzi, Riccardo
Ruggieri, Nicola Muresu, Alessandro Minetto, Alessandro Maiorino,
Gigi Di Gregorio, Femke Krone, Mario Petracca, Luca Zanetti.
In
October 2000, he formed "Organ Trio", with Federico Conti and Maurizio Cuccuini: this group played many
times both in Italy and abroad.

Moncalieri (TO): children propaedeutical course, introduction to
